Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Negotiator (Special Ops DLC) - Overview
“Negotiator” is a
downloadable content (DLC mission) of Special Ops Mission Mode in Call of Duty:
Modern Warfare 3. The objective is to escape and save as many hostages as
possible. The mission takes place in Himachal Pradesh, India, and an extended
map of the mission "Persona Non Grata".
This DLC mission was
first made available only to “Call of Duty's Elite” premium members for Xbox360
on 13th March 2012 and on 20th March 2012 to non-premium
members. On 12th April 2012 Black Ice was available to premium
members for PS3 and for non-premium members, it was released on 19th
April 2012. For PC mission Black Ice is made available from 8th May,
2012.

Single Player Walkthrough:
In the beginning, you
will find yourself in a storage room with two hostages and two hostile. You
grab a pistol kill the two take their weapon and run for a house. Breaching the
door you kill three more hostile and save some captives in that building. You
here can change your weapons with those placed on the floor. As you move out
through the other door, hostiles notice you and try to kill the prisoners. Kill
them quickly.
After that when you
move to an alley more enemies appears at the stair and on the other side of the
street. Eliminating them once you reach that side you take down one at the
balcony, that one trying to eliminate a hostage. Now you reach for the door of
that building. There you see two hostiles climbing the fence to reach your
side. Just the time you eliminate them two more come out from the building.
You kill them and move
into the building. Reaching the staircase you toss a stun grenade at the upper
end. After that, you climb up and eliminate the hostiles in the lobby. Then you
breach another door and save more hostages killing the enemies.
The time you try to
move out enemies breach the main doors of that building and attack you. Killing
them you move to the door and spot a hostile and a hostage on the extended part
of a building at the corner of the road. In a quick action, you kill the
hostile.
More enemies are
advancing for the building you are in from the corner of the road. An enemy
bird arrives with reinforcement. Fighting them you push forward and reach the
gate of the courtyard. It is the building from the mission "Persona Non
Grata" where Price and Nikolai were helping the doctor with Soap’s
treatment.
You breach the gate and
kill some hostile to save the prisoners in the yard. Take cover on the left (or
right) side, so the civilians do not get killed during the fight. Once the yard
is clear move into the building and take the stairs to reach the second floor.
Move to the lobby, through there you reach and breach a door. Once you kill all
the captors inside the mission ends.
You can play this
mission in 3 difficulties. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty will give
you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in Veteran
difficulty you will get 3 stars.
