MW3 - Persona Non Grata: Yuri's Vengeance & Intel Locations

Mission four in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, known as "Persona Non Grata," thrusts players into the persona of Yuri, an embittered ex-Spetsnaz operative fueled by a profound animosity towards the antagonist, Makarov. Set amidst the striking landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, India, the mission commences with a tense exchange between Captain Price and Nikolai, deliberating over the critical condition of Soap, a central character in the narrative.

The intensity escalates as Captain Price, Nikolai, and Yuri engage in a desperate firefight against Makarov's forces, unfolding amid the chaos of a plane crash into their makeshift medical facility. Tragically, the attending doctor succumbs to the violence, prompting Nikolai to call upon Yuri's expertise to aid Soap.

While attending to Soap, the trio faces an intrusion from an Ultranationalist, swiftly neutralized by Captain Price. The team navigates through the besieged building, with Nikolai carrying Soap on his back, as loyalists clear the courtyard, paving the way to a waiting chopper.


The journey continues to the perilous road, where a Russian drone casts an ominous shadow. Nikolai directs their attention to a weapons cache housing a crucial Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) on the outskirts of town. Yuri and Price, bolstered by loyalist allies, navigate treacherous streets, engaging enemies in urban warfare.

Encountering formidable opposition, Nikolai advises a strategic detour through a building to reach the UGV. Yuri takes control of the unmanned vehicle, systematically eliminating enemies and choppers, ensuring a secure path to the awaiting helicopter.

As the team reaches the chopper, a sudden drone attack jeopardizes their escape. Fortunately, the drone's strike hits the UGV, sparing Yuri and his comrades. In a heart-pounding sequence, Yuri sprints towards the helicopter, narrowly avoiding destruction from Reaper missiles that collapse the structure beneath him. Miraculously, he slides down a hill and falls into a river but manages to reach the shore. His friends rescue him, ensuring the team's safety in the face of relentless danger.

This intense and harrowing mission not only showcases Yuri's resilience but also plays a pivotal role in the intricate storyline of Modern Warfare 3.

Discovering Intel in the "Persona Non Grata" mission can provide valuable background information and contribute to your overall progress. Here are the locations for the four pieces of Intel:

Courtyard Room:

The first Intel is located in a small room within the courtyard.

Building Next to "Trekking Trade":

Find the second Intel in a building adjacent to the "Trekking Trade" color and fabric shop. Head to the second floor, turn right, and proceed through the door to locate it.

Behind UGV Shipping Crate:

The third Intel can be found on a barrel behind the left side of the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) shipping crate.

Near the Construction Site:

Intel number 11, the fourth and final piece for this mission, is situated on a slide near the construction site. Ensure you grab it while sprinting toward the chopper.
