Resident Evil 6 - Episode: A Gift from Ada - Overview

A Gift from Ada is the Seventeenth and the last part of Leon's campaign and the third part (Episode) of the fifth chapter. This content covers a part of chapter five, known as “Quad Tower Roof”.

Walkthrough:

In the cutscene, Leon and Helena reach the rooftop and find they are surrounded by zombies. Leon spots a chopper and tells Helena that the chopper is the only transport they can use to get out from there. But before they proceed Simmons arrives at the rooftop. With his metasoma, Simmons grabs the other zombies and dissolves their bodies into him.

Leon and Helena confront Simmons. Simmons seems weaker than before, and as a result, they easily defeat him. Just the time he defeated the other zombies ran toward and started eating him. After that with the stairs, they get on a wooden bridge to reach the other side. Once Helena asks Leon answers that, he thinks Simmons is not dead as he thought before. Through there they reach a door.

Passing through the door they reach near the control room. They then get on the roof control room. Seems Simmons turned into a giant fly. He shoots something at them. Leon falls on the construction elevator but he is alright. Leon asks Helena to reach the other side as he tries to distract Simmons. As Leon confronts Simmons, Helena takes control of the elevator and starts to move it. As the elevator moves far from Simmons, he flies near and grabs it. Leon shoots at the fly’s eye. Simmons falls taking the elevator with him. Leon manages to jump on the other side.

Leon and Helena kill the other zombies trying to get them. After killing them all they pass through another door and move toward the helicopter. Just the time they descend the stairs Simmons comes back turning into a giant spider.

**Try to shoot the weak point and not let the other zombies get closer. If he grabs one he will regenerate his legs.

**You will find some lightning rods use them to stab the zombies. If Simmons grabs this one, a lightning bolt will hit him and cause huge damage.

Leon starts to shoot at his weak point and finds that he is grabbing the other zombies to regenerate himself. Leon also finds that a lightning bolt hit Simmons as he grab one zombie stabbed with a lightning rod. He then starts to search and stab zombies with the lightning rod. Helena backed up him during the process. They manage to destroy most of the legs. As Simmons falls Leon gets his chance to shoot on his head. Leon manages to destroy one eye of the spider. Simmons grabbed the stabbed one to regenerate but a lightning bolt hit his head and he fell from the roof breaking a part of the building.

Leon and Helena then move toward the chopper again. The building starts shaking as the cause of the destruction. They reach the chopper. Simmons arrives for the final time as they are about to board. Leon uses the rocket launcher and shoots on his head. It destroys the head and Simmons falls. During the fall his extended parts break down and he transforms back to his human form. He died as he got stabbed on the tip of the tower in the ground. Leon and Helena witness his death.

The two then get back to the chopper. Opening the door Leon finds a microchip in a touch-up kit left by Ada. Leon opens the microchip and finds evidence of Simmons's involvement in the C-Virus tragedy. Hunnigan then contacts Leon and informs them that they found the method to defeat the virus. As the building is about to destroy they board and fly off for the HQ.

In the ending cutscene Helena, Leon, and Hunnigun go to Deborah Harper’s grave. There Helena says them she is ready to take responsibility. As she proceeds Leon hand over her gun. Hunnigun tells her that the investigation committee re-investigated the matter and considers that Simmons is the only one who is responsible for the attack. And then reassigned Helena. Helena then handed over the touch-up kit of Ada and teased him.
