Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Toxic Paradise (Special Ops) - Overview
“Toxic Paradise” is the fifth mission of
Special Ops Mission Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The objective of
the mission is to collect all six toxic samples. The mission takes place in
Montmartre Hill, Paris. Reverse map of mission Bag and Drag.
The mission starts with
a bird dropping the player(s) in a small compound. Overlord then describes the
chemical situation and orders to collect the samples from six different places.
Equipped with the Juggernaut suit once Metal 0-4 moves forward, The AC-130
Pilot informs that they are ready for air support. The player moves through the
street killing the Russians. He reaches another courtyard. There you can locate
two samples but before you collect them try to eliminate all the enemies.

After collecting the
samples you have to move to the next location. You have to take the staircases
to proceed, watch out for enemy airstrikes there.
**Take the staircases
on the left side behind the newsstand to avoid the airstrikes.
Moving forward and
turning left you will find another staircases. More enemies will approach from
the top. Eliminate them (you can engage in a direct fight or call for
airstrikes). Remember AC-130 will take time after every strike to prepare for
the next. Once you ascend through the stairs, you will spot an armored vehicle
with a mounted machine gun. Destroy it with the grenade launcher. Up the
stairs, you will find an ammo crate on the right side. Refill your weapon if
needed.
Then move up the ladder
into the burning building. Clearing the house you will reach another street.
You have to kill three hostile moves up there and you will find the third
sample cylinder. Once you start collecting the sample, another armored vehicle
will appear behind the barricade. So before you start collecting you can toss a
marker over there, and let AC-130 do the work or you can cancel the collection
and engage yourself.
After that as you
approach the stairs, you will confront a large group down the area (Café de
Paris courtyard). You will find the fourth sample on that ground. Collecting
the sample push through the restaurant and it will take you to the alley. By
the way, you can refill your weapon from the crate you found in the “Café de
Paris” courtyard of the restaurant. At the back alley, a Juggernaut will
confront you.
You can kill it in many
ways. If you want a direct fight try to grab an RPG. Rockets and Grenades cause
damage to armored enemies. Use the stun grenade to slow down him.
**The easiest way to
kill the Juggernaut is using the airstrikes on him.
So, once you are in the
alley toss a marker in the middle way as quickly as you spot the Juggernaut,
and immediately after toss a Flashbang to slow it down. And let AC-130 do the
rest.
After that, you enter
the bookstore and kill the enemies there. Once you reach the second floor
collect the next sample. More enemy troops will break in through the glass
ceiling. Killing them all move for the next sample placed on the ground floor.
More enemies will emerge outside the bookstore.
After you collect all
the samples, Overlord orders you to move to the extraction point. Exiting the
book store run into the next building through the opening move up the stairs
and fight your way to the extraction point. Careful when ascending, an enemy
will move in through a window and try to attack from behind. Once you reach the
extraction point the mission will end.
You can play all the
Special Ops missions in 3 difficulty. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty
will give you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in
Veteran difficulty you will get 3 stars.
No time limit to
complete this mission, just collect all six samples and reach the extraction
point.
