Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, a collaborative creation by Shaba Games and Treyarch, and published by Activision, stands out as a pinnacle in the Spider-Man game series. Released on October 21, 2008, this adventure game has secured its place among the best in the franchise.

At the very beginning of the game, Spider-Man meets with Mary Jane while she is working with Luke Cage. Mary Jane appears distant due to an incident four days prior. Through a flashback, Spider-Man revisits the traumatic encounter with Venom, resulting in Mary Jane's hospitalization. The journey intertwines with a gang war involving Luke Cage.

Embark on a thrilling journey through the Marvel Comic universe in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, where heroes and villains collide. The narrative unfolds as Spider-Man, during a mission with Luke Cage, faces a surprise attack from Black Cat and Kingpin's formidable soldier. A twist of fate leads to an alliance with Black Cat against the common enemy, Kingpin.

Throughout the game, players encounter a roster of iconic heroes and villains from the Marvel universe. Engage in intense battles, sometimes fighting alongside them as allies and, at other times, facing off against them as adversaries.

The symbiote's influence becomes a central theme as Wolverine discovers Spider-Man's affliction. A fierce battle ensues, testing Spider-Man's resolve to prove that he can overcome the symbiote's dark influence.

The hero you meet will train you in some skills that you can use during the fight.

As time progresses, the entire city succumbs to the symbiote's influence. Players must locate and eradicate the sources of this infection while aiding defense forces in civilian rescue missions.

Helping the civilians will increase the red point and if you fail to help them or do not help them the black point will increase. You will get two options to choose from during the mission. This will turn the situation of the game. Collect Spider Point to upgrade your fighting skills. You can call one hero to help you during the fight, but you should meet them first.

In the end, you have to defeat the Venom to end the madness happening in the city.
