Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Special Delivery (Special Ops DLC) - Overview
“Special Delivery” is
the last downloadable content (DLC mission) of Special Ops Mission Mode in Call
of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This DLC mission was made available only to “Call of
Duty's Elite” premium members for Xbox360 on 7th August 2012. The objective of
the mission is to collect some classified materials and also locate and revive
a soldier from a nearby crash site. The mission takes place in a Chinese Power
Facility.
You have to play the
mission as Onyx 0-6, and Overlord radio you at the beginning and Baseplate at
the end. The Osprey, a gunship will assist you by engaging the enemies and by
delivering you a care package from time to time. The co-pilot will inform you of
the enemy status of ground and air units. You can call for a care package ten
times in total. You will find some weapons placed on the ground at the
entrance. You have to fight against Ultranationalists, several Juggernauts and
Dogs. But you can thin the resistance if you can destroy the enemy bird before
it drops the reinforcement.
**I prefer to use the
Barrett.50cal sniper rifle and the XM25 grenade launcher in this mission.
**Use multiple Sentry
Guns, it will help you quicken progress.

Single-Player Walkthrough:
At the beginning of the
mission Onyx 0-6 finds himself at the entrance of the facility. And see the
Osprey taking off dropping a self-revive care package. Collecting the care
package and as he advances for the check post two hostile appear on the second
floor of the building with RPG. They either target him or the Osprey and as he
kills the two, many arrive at the checkpost. Eliminating them as he reaches the
checkpost, the co-pilot informs him about an enemy bird's arrival with
reinforcement. Fighting his way he reaches the construction site of the
facility.
He then collects three
classified materials. One from the building on his right, the second from a
small container office in the middle of the yard, and the third from the
incomplete tunnel just below the container office.
Collecting all the
materials Onyx 0-6 heads for the building at the northwest of the yard. As soon
as he enters the building, the co-pilot informs to Widowmaker of a visual on
the wreckage. Reaching at the ruins through the building he spots Ozone lying
on the ground. Once Onyx reaches him, the co-pilot informs the status to
Widowmaker. The mission ends as Onyx 0-6 revives Ozone.
You can play this
mission in 3 difficulties. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty will give
you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in Veteran
difficulty you will get 3 stars.
