Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Server Crash (Special Ops) - Overview

“Server Crash” is the thirteenth mission of Special Ops Mission Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The mission takes place in Montmartre Hill, Paris. It covers a partial map of the mission “Bag and Drag”. The objective is to infiltrate into Volk's hideout and obtain his plan in a DSM.

Single Player Walkthrough:

The mission starts inside the glass-roofed building. You are on the back side of a Jeep with a Grenade launcher and a Light Machine Gun. Overlord describes the objective of the mission. GIGN on the driving seat, and starts to drive the Jeep. The driver will inform you of the location of the hostile while driving. Overlord will guide you through the mission.

Once the Jeep reaches the street, enemies start to engage it. The jeep then goes up the stairs to reach the upper street. There they confront more soldiers and an armored vehicle starts shooting and chasing. You have to eliminate as much as your enemies and survive until you reach Volk's office building.

**To survive you must have to destroy all the vehicles and chopper.

Two more vehicles will arrive one from the bridge on the west and another from the street on the east. When the Jeep turns right other vehicles join the chase. Once the Jeep reaches a large staircase on the left, the driver turns and starts ascending through it. Reaching over there you will confront several ground soldiers and a GAZ placed at the corner of the street. Reaching that corner driver takes a sharp right. On that street, they have to destroy two more GAZs. One came from the right lane and another placed in front of Volk's office building.

Once the Jeep arrives at Volk's office building, you can get out of the car. The driver also gets off to hold the position and will stay behind. Noticing your arrival, enemies will start resisting from inside the door. Overlord orders you to reach the underground catacombs. You then move into the building eliminating them. Take the left door reach the ladder killing your resistors. Climbing down you reach the corridor. Now make your way to the staircases. Climbing down through it you will reach the catacombs.

Reaching there you have to connect the DSM to Volk's computer and protect it until the transmission is complete. As the transmission starts you will confront a heavy fight from your enemies. Once the upload is complete, Overlord will order you to retrieve the DSM and reach for the Jeep. Eliminate all hostiles before you retrieve the DSM.

**Before you move up just look for the weapons kept on the ground near the map.

Once you reach the corridor up the stairs, a Juggernaut will challenge you. Use stun and frag grenades and, a grenade launcher to kill. Then fight your way out of the building. Outside the building, a chopper arrives and droops some troops to challenge you. Try to kill them while you move for the Jeep. Once you enter the jeep the mission will complete.

“Bring it in, Metal 0-4. Nice work.” – Overlord

**Juggernaut must die, otherwise, it will kill you when you engage in a fight outside the building.

You can play all the Special Ops missions in 3 difficulty. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty will give you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in Veteran difficulty you will get 3 stars.
