Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Invisible Threat (Special Ops) - Overview

“Invisible Threat” is the twelfth mission of Special Ops Mission Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The mission takes place in Berlin, Germany, and covers a street from the mission “Scorched Earth”. The objective is to locate and defuse IEDs placed around the street. You will find yourself in a bomb disposal suit (Juggernaut suit) and also have access to a UAV.

Single Player Walkthrough:

In the beginning, Overlord describes the mission objectives and you are placed inside the “Teknik Deutschland” building. Overlord will provide instruction from time to time. Before you move for the street run the UAV to locate the IEDs. Once you move on the street enemies will arrive from the south of the street. Enemies will arrive in a wave pattern. Once you eliminate all next wave will arrive.

The predator drone can mark three IEDs at a time, so once you collect the three you have to take control of it to mark the next three. Fight your enemies and defuse the IEDs. The more you defuse the more it gets harder. You will find an ammo crate in front of the “Nord Volksbank” building and another one is in front of the “Teknik Deutschland” building. Refill your weapon if you need it.

Once you defuse the fourth IED an enemy tank will arrive. Use your predator drone to destroy it. At this point, dogs are also involved in the fight. Once you defuse the seventh IED, an enemy chopper will appear. Bring it down. The mission will end once you neutralize the last one.

In the two-player move, the second player is placed on a rooftop with a sniper rifle and a thermal SCAR-L to provide cover for the first one on the ground. The second player can also access the drone.

You can play all the Special Ops missions in 3 difficulty. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty will give you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in Veteran difficulty you will get 3 stars.
