Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Smack Town (Special Ops) - Overview
“Smack Town” is the
fourteenth mission of Special Ops Mission Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
3. The objective is to find and destroy drugs the local Militia is holding for
trafficking. The mission takes place in Boosaaso, Somalia.

Single Player Walkthrough:
At the beginning of the
mission, Overlord informs Angel-1 Pilot about losing the contact with Bravo
Team and asks to proceed to their location, while you are engaging a truck
firing at the chopper you are in. Reaching the last known location of the Bravo
team, Angel-1 Pilot reports back and informs that they have been killed in
action, as you see a burning chopper on the ground.
When you destroy the
truck more enemies enter the area. Once you clear them all, the copter circles
around the buildings. More enemies will appear on the rooftop on your right.
Once you eliminate them, more appear on the balcony of that building. As you
take them down more will appear on the rooftop.
Just the time you
eliminate the threats, the pilot informs you about the RPGs on another rooftop.
Do not let the guy fire the rocker, because one hit will end the mission. More
enemies will appear from the buildings nearby. While you are eliminating them
the chopper moves for a droop zone on the east side.
As soon as the chopper
reaches the LZ a technical arrives at the street. Before you land destroy the
technical. Dropping down there you will find a large Militia force waiting for
you. Overlord then describes the objectives of the mission. There are two
target locations Militia keeping the drugs. One is on the second floor of the
blue building, another is on the rooftop of a building north side of the
street. You have to eliminate all the enemies to reach there.
Once you reach there
plant the C4 on the narcotics stack and blow them up from a safe distance. Once
you destroy them all, run to the dock where the chopper is waiting for you. The
mission ends once you reach the chopper.
One on Ground, One in Chopper:
In two-player mode,
when the chopper reaches the LZ on the east side. One player can stay in the
chopper to provide support from the air and the other must drop off on the
ground.
Both on Ground:
Both players leave the
copter and split up, move for the target, destroy the narcotics, and get back
to the chopper. Each player will destroy one target.
You can play all the
Special Ops missions in 3 difficulty. Playing the mission in Regular difficulty
will give you a star, in Hardened you will get 2 stars and if you play in
Veteran difficulty you will get 3 stars.
