Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Iron Lady

"Iron Lady" is the twelfth mission of Call of Duty: MW3. You have to play as Frost with your Delta Force team and it takes place in Paris. The main objective is to extract the Metal Team with the captive Volk.

The mission begins with the conversation between Overlord and the US President. In that President asks about Makarov and Overlord tells him that the Metal Team captured Volk the bomb maker who works for Makarov and also describes the situation of the Metal Team's location. President then orders Overlord to bring them at any cost.

The mission continues from the previous one "Bag and Drag". Frost with the rest of the Metal Team moves toward the Raptor 2 to extract captive Volk. Unfortunately, the Raptor gets hit by enemy rocket fire, causing a crash landing Metal Team takes cover to avoid damage. Seems the Raptor 2 is unable to extract them.

Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Iron Leady

As their primary LZ is compromised, an AC-130 is assigned to escort them to another extraction point. The AC-130 crew starts to eliminate all the enemy forces with the gunship including land and air units, helicopters, and tanks, but they decide to avoid the buildings as it is believed that civilians may still be inside.

As the Metal Team makes a safe position the Warhammer communicates with Overlord to tell that Odin 6 is clear to engage. Then three bombers fly over the place destroying the remaining Russian forces. Seeing the enemy activity AC-130 Pilot asks the Metal Team to hold their position so that they can sweep the enemy up. Once the area is clear, Metal Team starts advancing. Warhammer keeps assisting the Metal Team clearing the street. Warhammer has also destroyed some hostile armored vehicles and helicopters on their way.

As the Metal Team is about to reach the embassy, come under RPG fire from a building in front of them. Warhammer asks for permission and destroys the building. Metal Team then heads towards a hotel across the street as they decide. In the meantime some Russian MiGs start shooting missiles targeting Warhammer, as they are not permitted to fire on the building they cannot engage the Russian MiGs, to avoid getting hit by missiles the AC-130 crew deploys flares and makes sharp turns. American fighter planes then engaged to take care of Russian MiGs. As the sky is clear, Sandman requests Warhammer to take down the target inside the embassy. Informing that they can only fire this time Warhammer clears the area.

“We can give you one pass and one pass only” – AC-130 Pilot

Sandman again asks to shoot a 105 on a building across the courtyard. But Warhammer informs that they can't provide any more support due to enemy fire.

“Give me a 105 round right through it!” – Sandman

Inside the hotel, realizing that they're on their own, Sandman, orders Truck and Frost to flank the enemy MG so that they can move forward. Taking down the enemies they move through the hotel's lobby and reach in a room. From there Frost kills the machine gunner using a sniper rifle he finds in that room. Eliminating the remaining Metal Team pushes into the courtyard, holds and defends their position waiting for convoy.

“The convoy will be here any second!” – Truck

The minute they eliminate all enemies a Russian tank appears from the end of the courtyard and Warhammer also joins to assist. Frost markers the tank with a smoke as Sandman ordered, so that Warhammer can destroy it. The camera then moves back to Warhammer's view.

Uniform 6-2 informs the Metal Team that they are heading their way. As Warhammer starts to clear the Russian forces in that area, the Humvees arrive. Noticing the Humvees, Russian forces started to target them. Metal Team manages to board the Humvees taking “Volk” captive.

Uniform then hurry for the second LZ and get chased by two enemy vehicles. Warhammer takes down the two and also destroys many enemy vehicles, tanks, and helicopters to join the pursuit. The Humvees make their way forward dodging the heavy enemy resistance. As they reach a road by the side of a river they turn right, there multiple enemy choppers start to pursue them. Warhammer manages to destroy the choppers but the front Humvee gets hit by a tank round and flips over as they reach the bridge. Warhammer then begins to attack the tanks posted on the bridge.

The camera returns to the player's view. Frost gets down from the other Humvee, grabs a Javelin, and destroys the enemy tanks. Using it as he takes down two enemy tanks, the Team pushes forward over the bridge. As they reach the middle of the bridge a Russian MiG crash on it. The team moves forward eliminating ground forces and getting stacked near a barricade. Sandman uses a red smoke to mark their LZ. Frost throws smoke on the other side of the barricade to mark the target for Warhammer. As the bomb rain eliminates all the enemies a Russian helicopter emerges with more troops, destroying the helicopters, The AC-130 Pilot requests the Metal Team to hold their position for thirty second till the CAS support arrive, and because of low fuel, Warhammer is forced to leave them.

“We’re bingo on fuel.” – AC-130 Pilot

A moment later Odin-6 communicates with Sandman asking to mark the target because they cannot classify the red and the blue. But Metal Team is unable to mark the target because they are out of smoke. As a result Metal Team describes their location and asks to strike the north of their position with everything they have.

“Hit anything North of us with everything you’ve got!” – Sandman

With Overlord’s permission, Odin-6 strikes the north of the bridge. The destruction wiped out all the Russian forces there and also caused the collapse of the Eiffel Tower.

“The tower’s not gonna take muck more that!” – Grinch

Several American chopper then arrives at the landing zone. Everyone boards on, Sandman then asks Frost the get on board. The mission ends with the successful extraction of the Metal Team and the captive “Volk”.

There is only 2 Intel in the mission Iron Lady.

01. You will find the first one as you get down through a door killing the machine gunner using the sniper, you have to get into the greenhouse-like building located on your left. The Intel is laid down at the top of the stairs.

02. You will find a bus on the left side of the bridge. After destroying the tanks using the Javelin, get into that bus you will find the second one on that.
