Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Eye of the Storm - Overview
"Eye of the
Storm" is the thirteenth mission of Call of Duty: MW3. Playing as Yuri you
have to assist Soap and Price to accomplish the mission. The main objective of
the mission is to reach the church with Soap and stay there to provide support
for Price. The mission takes place in Prague, Czech Republic.
The mission begins with
a conversation between Price and Sandman. Sandman informs about the intel they
have got from Volk. They also discuss Makarov’s next movement. Sandman informs
that Makarov’s going to meet his top advisor in the Hotel Lustig. After that Price
discuss their plan with Soap and Yuri.
As the city is locked
down, to reach the resistance they make their way through the sewers system
under the city. Reaching the exit point they notice that Russian soldiers have
already taken prisoners. Using the boats for cover the three swim quietly to
avoid detection. They make their way forward swimming under the docks. Price
stops the other for a while noticing enemy movement over the dock, there they
witness the execution of Czech prisoners. Once the soldiers pass, they continue
to swim until they reach a tunnel another side of the dock.

Inside they meet with
the Czech resistance members. Kamarov and others help the three out of the
water. Price then sends Yuri and Soap on their way. Passing through the tunnel
they reach an alley. Russian soldiers are already guarding the area. Yuri and
Soap make a stealth approach. Soap asks Yuri to take down the enemies on the
rooftop and clears the ground units by himself. After that, the two move across
the ally and reach the street. As they notice an outnumbered Russian soldier
and armored vehicles they decide to take the narrow lane on their right. They
move forward killing two man patrol ahead of them. Soap spots a sniper on the
rooftop but asks Yuri not to engage, as Soap notices a Russian chopper over
them. They move into a building on the right side of the street in a hurry.
There Soap contacts Price and warns about the movement on the street and warns
about the snipers on rooftops.
Exiting the building
they move through the street, the two hear some sound and see the shadow of an
enemy convoy approaching their way. The two then run to the corner of the
street. To avoid detection they get inside the store, and by crawling they make
their way forward. Some Russians enter the shop. An enemy dog might locate them
because it jumps at the window outside. Fortunately, it did not get inside as
one of the Russians walked up there and argued with the dog's handler. Once the
convoy has passed, Soap and Yuri exit the shop.
Leaving the store they
take a left and jump over a fence to reach another courtyard. There Soap
quickly executes an enemy as he is being spotted and hides the body. They hide
behind a fence in the courtyard and find that a Russian hind is unloading a
BTR. As soon as Soap communicates with Price, they get spotted by a sniper from
the rooftops and order Yuri to take them down. But before Yuri takes the shot,
Price and Kamarov appear behind the enemies and eliminate them.
“Nice Timing, old man.”

“Don’t worry, I’ve
brought some friends.” – Price
From the rooftops and
buildings of the opposite side, Czech members with Price and Kamarov start to
engage the enemy. Soap and Yuri open fire from the ground. They shoot down the
hind and destroy it along with the BTR. As Soap and Yuri with resistance
members move forward, some Russian choppers and trucks move in with
reinforcements. Price spots a BTR and orders to take cover. Hiding behind some
ammo crate Soap draws the attention and asks Yuri to destroy it. Yuri then
grabs an RPG and hits the armor. Noticing additional enemy reinforcements, Soap
orders to fall back to the building.
“More tangos inbound!
Fall back to the building! Go!” – Soap
They move into a
building seized by the Czech. When the others were fighting the enemies
outside’ the two moved through the building and the courtyard other side, and a
small group of Czechs joined them. They encounter firing from a building across
the street. Yuri brings down both the gunners with his sniper rifle. As they
start moving through the courtyard an enemy tank starts shooting, forcing them
to make their way through an art gallery.
Exiting the art gallery
they enter “Česká Národní Banka Investic” the bank building situated opposed,
as they see more armor moving up the road.
Once they move into the next room, some Russians enter the building.
Soap and Yuri engage them and eliminating them they move outside the building.
Soap and Yuri then take a left and run toward the church opposite the street.
But before they reach there, they notice a large force of Russian ground units
along with armor chasing the Czech resistance members. Once the street was safe
they reached the church and began the preparation for the operation.

You can find 2 Intel in
mission “Eye of the Storm”.
You will find the first
Intel on a desk inside the building you move in after killing the two-man
patrol.
In the courtyard, near
the statue, you will find, what you want, on the table, under the umbrella.
