Call of Duty: MW3 - Mission: Turbulence - Overview

The mission starts with the news about the Russian President overlaying with Price’s voice describing the world as a giant tinderbox, and all it takes is someone to light the match.

“Turbulence” is the fifth mission of Call of Duty: MW3. Playing as Andrei Harkov, an FSO agent you have to protect the Russian President and his daughter from the hijacker.

President Vorshevsky and his daughter Alena with other members flew for a peace conference in Hamburg. Harkov enters a room with the President. There Vorshevsky with the others discusses the peace he wants to create with the West. During the argument, they hear some gunfire, and FSO team 3 informs that the cockpit’s been breached by hijackers.

Two of the agent stays with the President while Harkov and Pudovkin take down three of the hijackers who breach the door. Protecting President Vorshevsky, team FSO moves toward the safe room. They pass through the lobby fighting the hijackers. Clearing the area when they reach the stairs, they experience that the plane is dropping down straightly at high speed. It creates a temporary state of zero gravity situation inside it. During the zero gravity state agents manage to eliminate the hostiles.

Clearing the upper compartment the agents move lower level to rescue Alena, daughter of The President. Agents make their way through the kitchen, the operations room, and the cargo bay. Rescuing Alena the FSO team start to move the President and her to the safe room. But before they reach there the plane crashes into the ground.

The force of the crash tears the plane apart, but they continue firing until the other part hits a control tower. Just after that, an engine from the plane hits the portion of the plane Harkov is in, causing a blackout.

Commander Leanid Pudovkin drags Harkov onto his feet, and the two stumble out of the ruins. They find Alena just outside the plane, but the President is missing. While the team moves forward to find the President an evacuation chopper arrives at their place. FSO team keeps pushing forward terminating their enemy.

As soon as team FSO secures the President, the chopper lands the evacuate him. Opening the door Harkov realizes that the chopper belongs to Makarov. Makarov shoot him and Pudovkin. Makarov shoots Pudovkin a second time to confirm his kill and captures the President.

Lying on the ground Harkov overhears a conversation between Makarov and President Vorshevsky. He heard Makarovs’ demand for the launch codes, and as the President refused to give them, Makarov ordered to find the girl. Noticing Harkov trying to reach his gun, Makarov shoots him a second time to confirm Harkov's Death.

Intel Locations of Turbulence:

There are 2 Intel you can find in Mission Turbulence.

01. The first Intel of the mission was located in the kitchen of the airplane. After eliminating all enemies during the temporary state of zero gravity situation go straight down to the cabin (it’s like a kitchen though). You will find the Intel on top of a cabinet on your right.

02. After the crash, as you move forward. You have to pass over a large log and you will find the second one just there kept on the ground.
