Resident Evil 6 - Episode: Smokey Tatchi - Overview

“Smokey Tatchi” is the fifteenth part of Leon's campaign and the first part (Episode) of the fifth chapter. This content covers three parts of chapter five, known as "Port Area", "High-Rise Area" and "Quad Tower Entrance".

Walkthrough:

In the cutscene, Chris tries to contact Leon from a fighter jet. Leon answers and informs that the situation getting worse there. It seems Chris gets angry hearing that. Leon also asks him to rescue Sherry and Jake from the underwater oil field. Leon mentions that Jack is Albert Wesker’s son. Chris is surprised to hear the name. Leon then informs that Jack has antibodies for the C-Virus. Chris says that he is moving toward the target. Before Leon disconnects Chris informs that Ada Wang is dead. Leon gets sad for her. Leon then tells Chris not to let Sherry and Jake down. Helena tries to comfort Leon. Leon tells her they should help the survivors and get out of Tatchi.

One of the Echo team members contacted their HQ. Another comes to Leon and Helena and tells them to leave that place as the team is evacuating. HQ informs to the soldier that they detected traces of C-Virus in the gas. The soldier reports that the Echo team is searching for the survivors. Leon and Helena reach the soldier and offer help. As the soldier saw the gas spreading, he accepted the offer. The soldier tells them to avoid the gas.

They ascend through the stairs and reach a gate, there the soldier tells them they are moving toward the Quad Tower. Opening the gate as they see that they are surrounded by the gas they move into a shopping mall nearby. They watch the people outside turn into the zombies. They get inside breaking the glass windows. To escape the building they reach the third floor fighting the zombies. As they reach the exit door in the third-floor lobby more zombies arrive from inside a shop on that floor. After a heavy fight, they manage to exit the building but one of the soldiers left inside. They reach an armored vehicle and get in. As they start moving forward HQ informs the new plans. They prohibited entry into Tatchi until further notice. As the soldier informs that the Echo team is still inside, HQ orders him to fall back. The soldier then keeps driving until they escape the smoke and reach a safe place near the tower. Then he drops Leon and Helena there and goes back searching for survivors. The two reach the other side over the blockade. Seeing an oil tanker coming toward them, they jump to avoid getting. The tanker crashes nearby and explodes as the oil gets in contact with fire. Explosions sent them in a car.

A cutscene takes us to the prologue but a bit different now. Leon gets up regaining his consciousness. He then grabs Helena up. They see zombies killing the survivor and notice a chopper coming to their spot. They see Ada in that chopper. She engages the zombies to save Leon and Helena. As the number of zombies is off-limit. They move through the ruins again and reach the yard. There Leon kills two zombies. Then they enter the building. As they reach the stairs many zombies run toward them. Killing them all the two move forward and reach the street on the other side of the building. Leon then contacts Hunnigan and asks for the correct route, Hunnigan tells them to follow the direction she provided. Killing some zombies Leon jumps down on the read and keeps advancing. The fighting jet falls and is destroyed, and Leon and Helena run to escape the impact (same as the Prologue). A chopper arrives to rescue them, they manage to board on the chopper leaving a soldier behind. The pilot loses consciousness, and Leon then takes control of the chopper. The pilot turns and tries to attack Helena. As Leon tries to help her, he loses control and the tail of the chopper hits a building. He managed to avoid a crush on a train but it sent the chopper inside a building. They fall from the chopper and manage to escape before the chopper falls over them. After that, they move through a door and reach the square. Helena does not feel right about this place. Leon then jumps down.
