X-Men Origins: Wolverine - The Great Escape - Gameplay

This part covers three objectives of the game, “Healing Factor”, “Feral Senses” and “The Great Escape”.

Objective Healing Factor

Logan exits the lab. He spots some sentry gun blocking his way. To avoid detection he takes cover in another lobby. He then moves into a room to his left of the lobby. He kills a guard there and exits another lobby. There he destroys one sentry gun and moves down the stairs. He enters a room on the left and spots several sentries placed to hunt him down. He overheard the discussions of the guards there. He manages to move to the next room dodging the guns. Entering the room he uses a power core to open a door. The power core also activated a control panel. Using the panel he brings a shield near the door. Then he detached the power core and reinstalled it again to send the shield to its place. He used the shield as cover and reached corridor 09.

Logan use the ventilation tunnel to move to the next room. One of the soldiers starts shooting at the tunnel. As the others stop him, he says that he hears something. Then the commenter alerts all the soldiers. Logan jumps down on a soldier and kills him. Then he used the shield controls to block the sentry placed there. Through there he reaches corridor 06 and uses a power core to open a door there. Through there he finally reached the biomechanics lab.

In the cutscene, Dr. Carol Frost asks Logan to place his arm on the machine. Then she locks him up and says that it will activate his regeneration ability. Seems that the soldiers spotted his location. Starting the process Dr. Carol says that she needs to leave, and also asks Logan to meet her at the neurochemistry lab. Just the time the process is complete the soldiers enter the room. As Logan tries to free himself, they shoot at him. One of the soldiers thinks that they killed him and asks the other to take a picture of him. Logan then kills that soldier and engages the other breaking the machine. As he kills the other more arrives. Logan exits the biomechanics lab after killing them all.

Objective Feral Senses

He then moves through the lobby and stairs killing the hostiles. He reaches sector 02 and confronts a large force in there. They use smoke to avoid detection, as Logan’s feral sense is deactivated he cannot spot them. But he managed to kill them all. After that, he exited the room and reached another room through the lobby.

As Logan enters the room someone shoots at him, but he cannot spot one. Seems that Ghosts (soldiers using cloaking) are attacking him. Logan manages to kill them all. After that more soldiers arrive. Killing them all Logan exit the room. He overhears that the soldiers are taking positions to stop him. He moves through the lobby and stairs killing the hostiles and reaches the neurochemistry lab.

In the cutscene, Dr. Carol Frost asks him to take the seat so that she can start the procedure. Carol says that she has to leave before the soldier arrives. She says that the procedure will take a few minutes. Before she leaves she asks him to help a little girl. As Logan hesitates, she says that the girl is scheduled for termination.

Objective The Great Escape

Just the time Logan’s feral senses activated many Ghosts arrive and try to kill him. Using his feral senses Logan kills them all. A large number of soldiers then arrive including Elite Commando and Ghost. Logan had to fight hard to eliminate them all. After that two more arrive in the lobby other side of the lab. Logan jumps on one of them and after killing them he enters the sector where the girl was kept.

He encounters a grenadier there. As the grenadier launches a grenade at him Logan deflected it toward the grenadier. The blast killed the grenadier. Two elite commandos arrive to confront him. After killing them Logan reaches the girl.

In the cutscene, the girl asks his name. Logan introduces himself and asks her name. The girl says her name is Ana. Logan then says that Carol was talking about her. Ana said that Carol told her that she would come for her. As they are talking Ana sees some soldiers entering and warns Logan. Logan asks Ana to close her eyes so he can take care of them. Logan kills them all and then he destroys the control panel to shut off the chamber's electric shield. Then he reaches the girl. As Logan asks her they have to leave the place. Ana teleported them to a room near the control room. Logan then asks her if she can get them outside. Ana says that it makes her tired if she teleport other with her. Logan then asks her to stay, while he reaches the control room. Ana tells him that she can move faster than him. Before Logan can stop her she reaches the control panel. There a doctor injects anesthetizing drugs into the girl and informs Stryker. Logan sees that but cannot stop the scientist.
