X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Survivor

The game is a storytelling by the Wolverine (Logan). You have to complete several objectives through the gameplay. The game starts with a prologue showing Wolverine fighting a group of soldiers sent to capture him. With the progress, you will unlock new abilities. This content covers the Prologue, Survivor, Big Brother, and River Rapids objectives of the game.

Prologue:

The game begins with a cinematic cutscene overlaying with the voice of Wolverine. He is killing the soldiers who try to capture him. Once he kills all the soldiers on the ground. More starts shooting at him from the building. Logan then takes cover and runs toward the building. Inside the building, he engages three soldiers on the second floor. He kills two, the third shoot twice and send him down. He stands up and kills the third after recovering the gunshot.

Three more then arrive at the third-floor stairs and start shooting at him. Logan falls to the ground floor. Seems that he got hurt very badly. Leon confronts and kills them when they reach the ground floor. Leon then starts to think about his experience in Angola, Africa. He boarded a chopper along with (Victor, Wade Wilson, John Wraith, and Nord) Team X, led by Colonel Stryker. The objective is to locate a village that holds the secret to a valuable mineral deposit. Victor tries to tease Logan there. A rocket hits the chopper as they reach the drop zone. The screen goes dark.

The game starts now. Logan is in the air heading toward the ground dodging the gun fire and the incoming rockets. Just before he touches the ground the title hits the screen. He lands on the ground killing a hostile. Seems his arm is displaced. Taking care of his arm, he engages the remaining hostile nearby. Once he eliminates all more appears. As it is a tutorial fight it will show some tips and tricks.

After that more hostiles arrive by opening a door nearby. Logan passes through the gate eliminating the hostiles. He reaches the end of the path lunges at a hostile other side and kills him. Reaching at the edge he noticed some smoke on the other side near the temple. He thinks that the smoke is coming from the crash site.

Objective Survivor:

Logan then jumps down on a hostile there and kills the rest. He then starts climbing the ledges and uses a rope to reach the upper path. He then reaches a broken bridge and eliminates all the hostiles there. After that, a fighter hind arrives and starts shooting at him. He jumps at the chopper and tries to kill the pilot. The pilot shoots at him, Logan loses his balance but manages to escape the fall using his claw. Logan then tries again and this time succeeds. After killing the pilot he jumps back to the ground. The chopper then destroys hitting the mountain.

Logan enters an old temple. When he jumps down a machete champion arrives and confronts him. Seems that the champion can produce a flame. Once he kills the champion more hostiles arrive. Logan Kills them all and reaches a bridge outside the temple. When he reaches the halfway of that hanging bridge, many enemies approach him from behind, some try to destroy the bridge, and the rest hold their position in the way forward. Logan jumps at the hostile other side of the opening. As he pushes forward using an enemy as a shield, enemies behind destroy the bridge. He managed to hang onto it using his claw. He then climbs up to the ground killing several enemies.

Through there he reaches the edge and spots a gate of the temple. He then rappelled a rope that was preset there to reach the gate. Reaching there he engages the hostile and spots a jeep. After eliminating all he pushes the jeep at the gate. As it reaches near the slop Logan jumps on, the jeep destroys the gate crushing on it. Some hostiles hear the gate crushed to death. Just before the jeep hits the ground Logan jumps at the other and kills them. More enemies arrive and confront him. Once he kills them all a machete champion arrives. Just the time Logan kills him two more come through a door starts shooting at Logan.

After killing them Logan moves forward and reaches another gate. There he kills two more and climbs a wall to reach the other side as the gate is closed. There he kills several and climbs again to pass another gate. Passing the gate he fights the hostiles and moves forward. Reaching a sealed room he takes right and keeps pushing forward until he reaches another sealed room.

**The player will spot several sealed rooms in that area. Break in and you can collect hit points (HP) from there.

He breaches the room and climbs a ledge to get into the lobby. There he killed the one who was sitting in the lobby. Others on the ground came forward as they heard a sound and saw the weapon on the ground. Logan pushes a wall on them to kill them, but one survives luckily. Logan jumps and kills him saying, “I bet you thought you were lucky.”

He reaches the crush sit and collect the radio earpiece and contact Stryker. He informs Stryker about the pilot and asks about the rest of the team including his brother. Stryker says that all are fine but scattered. Also informs Victor is in a temple north of him.

Objective Big Brother:

Logan then moves through the gate, gets down to a yard from the lobby, and reaches a wheel. He use the wheel to open a door connected to it. The door closes when he passes it. Logan executes many enemies there including a machete champion. After the fight, he reach the other side through an opening at the upper left side using the preset ropes there. He then pushes forward fighting his enemies. He finds another rope and climbs it to reach the upper lobby.

He proceeds his way through lobbies, yards, and rooms fighting the enemies. He reaches a room where he finds another switch but the wheel is missing. He then moves through a bridge and finds the wheel on the other side. He brought it and fixed the switch. Then he used it to open a door on his right. Through the door, as he reaches the yard a Leviathan jumps up there and challenges Logan. After a hard fight, Logan defeats the Leviathan boss.

Then he radioed Stryker and reported the status. Stryker informs that they lost communication with them but tracking their location near the river. Wraith radioed Logan and informed them about Victor. Stryker orders Logan to reach the river as quickly as possible.

Objective River Rapids:

Just the time they finish the conversation, some hostile arrive through a door. Logan brings a statue out of that room, jumps on it, and then climbs the wall to reach the upper platform. An enemy arrives at the next platform. Logan jumps at him and kills him. He use another rope to rappel down. Just the time he grabbed the rope some explosives exploded at the temple.

Logan reaches the river and confronts a machete champion. Killing him when moves on the dock some speedboat arrives and starts shooting at him. Logan jumps at the enemy of one of the boats. He takes down all the enemies of the three boats. And reach the last one, a gunner starts shooting with a 50.cal mounted in it. Killing the gunner he takes control of 50.cal and destroy the other boat approaching him. His boat crashes on the river bank and sends him to the ground.

Logan was injured and surrounded by some hostile. Hostiles are about to attack him, but Victor joins him and eliminates all the hostiles. Logan says that he did not need Victor's help. Victor replied that he would not always be there to help Logan. He says that, they are the same, but Logan does not realize it yet.
